Evidence of Manipulation of Photo's

Manipulation of Photographs

This photo was set outside and i set this outside because i thought that it would be a good setting for some of the photos as it gives the feeling of nature. I set up this photo by standing in this way because i thought that it would give a full body pose of the model. i changed this photo by slimming it down so that any un-necessary features that were around the outside were taken out and i also changed it into black and white because it gave a better effect as the model stood out more than when it is i full colour

I defined the models body so that it stood out from the background by changing the contrast of the colours and this was a good idea because it meant that all of the parts which i wanted people to see were easier to view. I set this photo up by having the model stand against my clear wall which gave a good backdrop for the image.

This image did not need much done to edit it because i thought that the colours were already in the right contrast and also there was enough space on either side. The only thing that i changed slightly was the brightness as i thought that it would look better if it was bright and it would make the model stand out from the backdrop. I set this image up by telling the model to sit down on her knees which showed a more relaxed scene and then i put the headphones on which can relate to the theme of drum and bass as people usually have headphones.

I think that this image was already in a very good light because it had a good light when this image was taken and I think that this meant i could get a good picture without changing too much. The only part which I changed in the end was the birghtness of the image as i thought that it would look better if the model stood out better. I set up this image by giving the headphones to the model and i then had a close up shot of the model which i think would be a good image to recognise who it is.

For this image I had to change quite a lot as I changed the size of the image which is being shown and i also had to change the lighting as they were in a smaller section which was in the dark, I thought that even though some of the conditions were wrong it was still a very good photo and that was why I changed it as I thought it had a good meaning. I set up this image by sitting them against the wall with one infront of the other as I thought that it would have a connotation of romance.

This image was originally a pose that I had saw from another image of a DJ as I think that it is a good position for the artist to be in as it shows the music which they are doing and I think that I cahgned this image by increasing the brightness so that it stands out more. I also changed the contrast so that the brighter colours stood out more than the background so that the model stood out more. I set up the picture by having the model stand against the wall and then put the headphones on which relates back to the theme of Dubstep and House music.

These images are an example of what some of the images were when the guitar was used as a prop and I think that it was a good prop to used because if you listen to house music you can occasionally hear a guitar in the background and this is why I used the electric guitar in this. I set these images up by telling the model to sit against the wall with the guitar laying ontop of him which makes it look like a more relaxed scene.
