Find Your Tribe

‘Find Your Tribe’ is a good way of finding out what type of audience you want to aim your magazine out. It shows what certain groups of people enjoy, for example you can look at how the mass audience enjoy their music or what type of music they enjoy. I turned out as a ‘townie’ because I have to work hard but in the long term I enjoy having time off and spending it with mates. I have learnt that most of the UK are ‘townies’ from another screen which showed the percentage and it was very similar around the country showing how that if you can get a product which this audience will enjoy then they you will really benefit from the amount of people which would buy this magazine. From this I will try and appeal some of the factors of the magazine directly to what the audience of my magazine wants.
There are direct links that you can do if you want to try and share it with the rest of your friends and then you could ask them what they got to try and get a idea of what you want to put into your magazine.
I will come back and reflect on this when doing the photo shoot as I think that if I have an audience which is as wide as it can be read throughout the whole country then I think that I will feel as though I have achieved something through looking at what information people enjoy inside magazines.
